Coronavirus Update from the BMW CCA as of June 1, 2020

From 5:00 p.m. ET on June 1 forward, all entities comprising the BMW Car Club of America and/or the BMW Car Club of American Foundation will be permitted to resume a normal event schedule. However, all events must be run in compliance with state and local law and regulatory bodies. Please note that each chapter and entity is responsible for researching and adhering to the state and local guidelines of the jurisdiction in which their event will be held.

The New Mexico chapter supports these efforts, knowing the sooner we can collectively flatten the curve the stronger we will all be in recovering from these challenges. Therefore, the May 2nd First Saturday and May 16th Spring Fiesta have been cancelled. We will be evaluating the situation on an ongoing basis and will communicate updates via email, Facebook and the club website. One possible silver lining in the clouds covering our global membership is perhaps, maybe, we’ll finally finish that long-awaited and long-postponed project in the garage. Until then, we’ll look back at some of the excellent adventures we had together in the recent past. Stay safe and stay well, we’re looking forward to seeing you again soon!
