¡Bienvenidos!

BMW CCA New Mexico Chapter logoThe BMW Car Club of America New México Chapter serves members throughout the entire state of New México and El Paso, Texas. The Chapter, founded by Dieter Fox and Jacqueline Fuchs Fox in 1987, offers social events, driving tours, tech Sessions, and car shows. New México is the fifth-largest state geographically, and in a region interwoven with art, culture, history and stunningly beautiful scenery, it is truly the “Land of Enchantment.” For this reason, our premier events are our New Mexico True driving tours.

Driving Tours

Photo from the 2017 Fall TourOur annual Karl Fox Memorial Fall Tour typically takes us to Northern New México and is timed to coincide with the change to Fall foliage. Our Spring Tours are generally destination tours south of Albuquerque and have included El Morro and El Malpais National Monuments; the Very Large Array on the Plains of San Agustin near Magdalena; Ruidoso; Lincoln Historic Site; Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument west of Mountainair; the Trinity Site near Alamogordo; and an  EV-friendly tour of the southern pre-1937 Route 66 alignment from Albuquerque to Laguna Pueblo through Los Lunas.

Our tours usually include wonderful dining. Examples include Gabriel’s North of Santa Fé, Rancho de Chimayó, Chili Line Depot in Tres Piedras, The Plaza Hotel Range Cafe in Las Vegas, Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso, the historic Luna Mansion in Los Lunas, the historic St. James Hotel in Cimarron and of course, many small places with excellent green chile cheeseburgers!

We have several Tech Sessions and member Garage days throughout the year in Albuquerque and Santa Fé. They are always interesting, and include pizza! Our annual Spring Clean Car Show and fundraiser at the the beautiful New Mexico Veterans Memorial Park in Albuquerque is an opportunity to show off your clean BMW, and enjoy camaraderie with other BMW enthusiasts while supporting our veterans. Other activities include hosted membership dinners, ice cream socials, indoor karting, and a monthly gathering or drive. Hope you can join us!
