The BMW Car Club of America New Mexico Chapter will hold its annual election of Chapter Officers and a vote on proposed Bylaws revisions during December, 2025. We are seeking nominations from chapter members interested in running for an elected Chapter Officer position during the month of November, 2025.
Under the BMW CCA “Operations Manual,” each chapter elects its Officers including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, through an electronic voting process managed by the BMW CCA National Office. All current New Mexico Chapter members will receive official voting instructions and a personalized link directly from BMW CCA in early December. Voting will remain open through December 31, 2025, with results announced in early January.
Officer Nominations Open in November
Members interested in running for an elected Chapter Officer position are encouraged to submit a statement of intent and a brief bio to the New Mexico Chapter Nominating Committee at nominations@nmbmwcca.org. Nominations will be accepted through November 30, 2025.
Bylaws Revision
Members will also vote on proposed updates to the Chapter Bylaws. The revisions include:
- Introducing two-year, staggered Officer terms (elected online through BMW CCA National).
- Changing Director At Large positions from elected to appointed roles, consistent with practices in other chapters.
These updates aim to make the Chapter Board more responsive and efficient. Members can download the proposed Bylaws and view the current Bylaws. Please send feedback or express interest in future Director At Large roles to president@nmbmwcca.org.
How to Vote
In early December, each New Mexico Chapter member will receive an email from BMW CCA with a secure, member-specific link to vote for:
- Contested Chapter Officer positions
- Adoption of the proposed Chapter Bylaws revision
