NM BMW CCA COVID-19 Protective Procedures

We’ve come a long way across the State of New Mexico and made substantial progress in containing and managing the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency. However, the virus is still prevalent and deadly, and we must be cautious to not let our guard down. While vaccines remain the most effective way to prevent the spread, not all are eligible, or some may choose not to receive a vaccine. Therefore, we will continue to make every attempt to minimize the risks of exposure to and spread of the virus. The BMW Car Club of America New Mexico Chapter is committed to adhering to all State, County and Municipal guidelines in relation to COVID-19. While the risk can never be totally eliminated, as a chapter that gathers members from across the region we felt it important to take a conservative approach and follow the most stringent requirements that may apply to any one of our members.

  • We strongly encourage all participants to stay home if they are at higher risk for severe illness, or if they are sick or experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
  • Masks are required for everyone, in all indoor public areas, except when eating or drinking.

Ultimately, it is your responsibility to assess the risk to you, and to make the decision on whether to participate. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms, please stay home. If you have been in contact with someone who has been experiencing symptoms in the past two weeks, please stay home. We love you all, and want to continue to enjoy many years of events with each and every one of you!
