On Saturday, July 25, 20206, members of the BMW CCA New Mexico Chapter gathered at the Poeh Cultural Center parking lot in Pojoaque for a scenic drive through Northern New Mexico. Fourteen club members in eight BMWs set out for Taos via the beautiful High Road to Taos Scenic Byway.
The group made a stop at the Picuris Travel Center outside of Peñasco for a restroom break and an opportunity to top off their fuel tanks before continuing to the beautifully restored Hacienda de los Martinez Museum just outside Taos.
Members enjoyed exploring the historic hacienda and learning about life in Northern New Mexico during the early 1800s. The day concluded with a delicious lunch and great conversation at 5 Star Burgers in Taos before everyone headed home, wrapping up another enjoyable chapter road trip.
