Equinox TSD Rally

On Sunday, March 22, 2026, the BMW Car Club of America New Mexico Chapter will hold the Equinox TSD Rally. This will be somewhat of an educational rally, introducing the rallyists to principles of Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rallies.

Participants will use the Richta Competitor Rally app on their smartphones or tablets, eliminating the need for course workers. All driving (except for occasional pull-outs) will be on paved roads at legal speeds, and Rallymaster Dave Olson promises to put together a rally that will be easy to follow. Each car must be fully street-legal, preferably quiet, and have a driver and a navigator. Additional passengers will also be permitted. General Instructions will be provided when you register.

We will gather promptly at 8:00 a.m. at La Puerta Real Estate Services in Placitas, NM, 0.621 miles east of I-25 (have to get you in the spirit of things, here.) There will be a drivers’ meeting and the first car off will be at 9:00 a.m. The rally will conclude with lunch and awards at Village Pizza, 4266 Corrales Rd, Corrales, NM at about 1:00 p.m. There will be two rest stops along the route, one at a coffeehouse and one at a McDonalds. Please RSVP Below ASAP by Friday, March, 20th
