DESCRIPTION:The June NM BMW CCA Borderland Region First Sunday Meetup will be Sunday\, June 1\, 2025 for a drive to Ruidoso\, NM through the Sacramento Mountains on NM 244. We will meet at 9:00 am in Alamogordo at Lowes and drive to Cloudcroft\, then on to the Cornerstone Bakery Café \, 1712 Sudderth Dr. in Ruidoso for brunch. \nThe Borderland Region gatherings on the first Sunday of the month help build the community for BMW owners in west Texas\, southern New Mexico\, and northern Chihuahua in addition to the regular chapter events.

SUMMARY:June 2025 Turquoise Trail Drive and Tinkertown Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join the BMW Car Club of America New Mexico Chapter for a scenic drive along the Turquoise Trail to the fabulous Tinkertown Museum in the East Mountains. Tinkertown\, one of New Mexico’s premier examples of Roadside Americana\, is the culmination of sign painter Ross Ward’s life passion carving and animating wooden characters\, painstakingly assembling dioramas\, and collecting odd bits from around the world. Impossible to categorize and harder to describe\, it’s a joyful celebration of human creativity and Ward’s simple call to turn off the television and make something.  \nMeet in the parking lot of Fusion Tacos El Dorado at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am departure\, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely drive along the historic Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway. After visiting the museum we’ll make our way further down NM 14 to enjoy wood-fired pizza on the outdoor patio at Rumor Brewing Company in Cedar Crest.
