SUMMARY:Tech Session at Hans Wittler’s Automotive Northside (Rescheduled)
DESCRIPTION:Join the BMW Car Club of America New Mexico Chapter for a Tech Session at Hans Wittler’s Automotive Northside (5701 Wilshire Ave NE in Albuquerque) on Thursday evening\, November 9\, 2023 at 6 pm (originally scheduled for September 21st).  Andreas Wittler will be talking about using the factory ISTA software for diagnosing BMW cars. He will have several different real world examples of what it takes to diagnose these complex electrical systems. Andreas will also give a talk about the new electric vehicles that are coming down the pipe line. Pizza will be provided by the NM Chapter. \nHans Wittler and his wife Christel immigrated from Germany to the United States in 1958 to start a new life. While Hans was a factory trained technician\, he found the dealership way of business was not to his standards. So in 1975\, Hans and Christel opened Hans Wittler Automotive and offered high quality service for German automobiles in Albuquerque. \nOver the years\, Hans’ two sons\, Roger and Andreas worked with their father to learn the ins and outs of German engineering and eventually took over the business in 1999. The business continued to grow and needed additional space. In 2019 Hans Wittler Automotive opened a second location on the north side of town to better service its expanding list of customers. Today\, it continues to be a family-run business as Roger oversees the Eastside Elizabeth location (Near I-40 and Juan Tabo) while Andreas manages the Northside Wilshire location (Near I-25 and Alameda).
