SUMMARY:Cardinal Point Drive North to Jemez Springs
DESCRIPTION:Join the BMW Car Club of America New Mexico Chapter for a drive to Jemez Springs\, NM on Saturday\, July 13\, 2024. We will meet at the Nambe Falls Travel Center in Pojoaque at 9:00 am and plan on a 9:30 departure. From there\, participants will drive to White Rock Overlook to enjoy the view and use the restrooms. The next stop will be the Valles Caldera\, where we will pause at the overlook for a photo opportunity. \nThe group will then proceed to Jemez Springs for lunch at Los Ojos Restaurant and Saloon. After lunch\, we will take a scenic drive through the Jemez mountains towards the Seven Springs Fish Hatchery. Continuing on NM 4 to US 550\, we will stop at the Watatowa Visitor Center and Red Rocks Convenience Store for a museum visit\, snacks\, gas\, and restrooms. Finally\, we will head back home via US 550 to Bernalillo\, then continue to Albuquerque\, Santa Fe\, or our respective destinations.
